Pilling is not a defect or the basis for a carpet complaint. Occasionally loose yarn ends will rise above the pile surface. Cleaning a loop rug requires a gentle approach to prevent snagging or
damaging the loops. Some vacuum cleaners such as stick vacs, robots and ones that feature turbo heads, can damage wool loop carpet causing a fuzzy surface – which doesn’t look the best. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brushless setting.
